Water Water Everywhere

Flooded again after heavy rain. There is a street there somewhere but a boat might be better than a car!

Australia’s Otter?

Short clip of a Rakali (native water rat) swimming in our local creek. It has a cute face, webbed feet and a distinctive white tip to its tail. Clever rakali have learnt to kill and eat the invasive and highly poisonous cane toad by flipping it over, removing the gall bladder and going for the heart. This is no ordinary rat and it is protected. Go Rakali!

A Walk on the Wild Side

Beautiful, socially distanced walk close to home. Feel very lucky to live where we do.

Autumn Blossom

Think our Granny Smith Apple tree is a little confused after a summer of drought, fires then floods. The other apples trees are in Autumn hues and losing their leaves but this one thinks it’s Spring.

This male King Parrot was busy eating seeds and not too bothered about humans nearby.
